Playroom

This playful room in the library building is a haven of imagination and exploration for children. Strategically divided into four distinct areas—Toddler Area, Themed Booths Area, Play with Balls Area, and Story Reading Area—it caters to a wide range of age groups and interests, ensuring that every child finds something engaging to partake in.

The Toddler Area is designed as a safe, nurturing space where little ones can explore freely. Lined with wooden benches topped with comfortable yellow cushions, it offers a soothing environment. The area is adorned with age-appropriate toys and a charming wooden slide, whose sides are creatively shaped like a hill and covered in vibrant green carpeting. Two wooden trees dot the space, their branches festooned with LED lighted green balls, lending a whimsical touch to the surroundings.

The Themed Booths Area serves as a springboard for imaginative play, featuring a series of wonderfully crafted booths. Children can pretend to be shopkeepers at the vegetable shop booth, heal imaginary ailments at the doctor's office booth, fix vehicles at the car mechanic shop booth, or act out wild adventures in the Wild West cowboy booth.

Next is the Play with Balls Area, a hub of friendly competition and endless fun. It features two interactive toys—a transparent maze wall and a shooting range. The maze wall challenges kids to race balls through a vacuum tube, while the shooting range allows them to score points by shooting balls through rings using a pneumatic gun. A nearby chalkboard invites them to record their scores, promoting healthy competition and camaraderie.

Separated from the main room through a wooden arch gate, the Story Reading Area offers a cozy haven for young bookworms. This intimate nook is complete with a back wall lined with bookshelves and a comfy couch for adults to read stories aloud. Scattered around the area are modular, colorful seats that children can rearrange to their liking, encouraging creativity and flexibility.

Throughout the room, the use of wood provides a sense of warmth and familiarity. Vibrant colors are used strategically, accentuating the playful elements without overwhelming the overall aesthetic. This balance ensures the playroom remains a calming yet stimulating environment, perfect for young minds to learn, explore, and have fun.
